As promised, I took one of each size directly to the UPS Facility today (Not a UPS Pack and Ship store) and they weighed and measured each tire. They said $410.00 would be the shipping cost for ground service for either zip code here.

How about $900.00 including the shipping to the west coast? That would be a 20% discount off the current TireRack price shipped to your zip code.

TIP:
ship the tires in pairs. it would lower shipping costs by about 1/2. you can band / tie / tape the pairs together. example: |

Yeah. Going to shipping store for each clown that wants a price is too much effort. FREE bump

I have stated this and offered to fully disclose the final shipping costs and refund the difference. I am not looking to make any money on shipping costs.

I'd recommend negotiating Amtrak Express shipping with any buyer: https://www.amtrak.com/express-shipping
You can get this done for $100 or so. Fees listed here are $69 for the first 100 pounds, 57 cents/pound after: https://toughnickel.com/real-estate/...Amtrak-Express The caveats are: 1) recipient must pick up within 48 hours of arrival at the Amtrak station to which the items are sent. After that they charge you usurious storage fees. 2) You can't ship more then 500 lbs, per day, which this will not amount to. 3) each item must be less than 50 lbs and smaller than 36 inches cubed, which these wouldn't be. You can even get buy insurance pretty cheaply. |

I have another set of 4 tires available. Exactly the same as previously noted at the beginning of this thread.
