Accelerating Sensor

I was installing lowering springs a couple days back on a 2015 F80/M3. When I got the rear driver side , I unclipped the accelerator sensor (yes I know I didn’t have to do that) which came off fairly easily. When I went back to clip this sensor after the the spring install it didn’t want to fully go back in. I made sure there wasn’t any debris or anything in the senor blocking it from going fully back in. The sensor and the three connectors are all in place.

Is there a step I’m missing? I tried pushing it in with all my force and I feel like it shouldn’t be that hard to get this to clip back in… has anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions

Do you have compressed air? If you do, try hitting both sides with a quick shot of compressed air to clean out any dirt and debris.

When you disconnected the connector was it a simple straight down pull to release it?

No I don’t but I’m going to borrow a buddy’s. And no I had to wiggle from side to side and apply some force (nothing crazy)
