Changed Cabin filter but now need to reset Idrive

My Idrive had been bugging me that I needed to change my cabin air filter for some time so last week I bought it myself and replaced it. But I cannot find in the Idrive menu where I can update it so the service indicator goes away. Any ideas? Thanks!

You call that scolding? Lol I even said please, and was in no way rude. Would you rather me have "scolded" you and on top of that not even given you the correct url? The post I referenced is on the first page in the Maintenance forum.

Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

Basically, you were wrong in saying "Please try searching next time". As I stated, I had done that. Next time I will indicate so. Maybe that will avoid good folks like yourself from making assumptions. Also, I learned early on in my career to be very careful with emails, etc. as everyone interprets them differently. You can't pick up ones tone when reading a typed message.

The forum is suppose to be here to share and learn info from people that have a common interest. Obviously I was not as familiar with the correct terms as you are and my search results did not find the link. I am grateful for the help as it is obvious I needed help in doing so. I just don't understand why add the extra rhetoric?

Have a nice day...
