m tech carbon fiber rear diffuser
so i called my friend at his body shop and tried to order the m-tech rear bumper. i told them what i needed and he said he'll call bmw and ask if they have it. the dealer told him they have the carbon fiber rear diffuser in stock and that it will work with the oem rear bumper. i told him, there's no way it will fit. bmw dealer insist that it did fit and said they doubled checked it with bmw and they said it will fit. well it came in and it does not fit. what a shocker... it was nice to see it anyways. the weave was poor. he had to take a picture to show bmw that it will not fit in order for the body shop can return it. check out the picture.

The biggest problem I have with CF add-ons is that, even if they're the $800 real deal, everyone will assume it's a $30 fake. Also, CF is used to save weight, so any item you add to your car - even if it is genuine CF - defeats the whole purpose.
