Is anyone surprised the rear does not have ventilated seats, even if you tick the captain seats option; pretty standard or as an option with other luxury brands.

Slightly surprised... I was hoping that the captain chairs would be available with massage seats and additional features like 20-way controlled seats, rear heated/cooled cup holders, rear ventilated seats etc... They could have put these features in a rear luxury package similar to the one seen in 7 series.

I guess BMW wants to reserve those features for the rumored X8.

Lol. I just read the new Hyundai Palisade will have a ventilated/heated captains chair.
