Has anyone uncovered an option for a foldable or collapsible all weather cargo mat that can be used if the 3rd row is down or up? Had one for a honda pilot years ago and it was very convenient.

Anyone with the Kagu 3D mats have the cargo mat? I'm trying to figure out how it looks installed. The Kagu people are saying it goes behind the 2nd row but that doesn't seem to make sense. Can someone explain how it's fitted? Thanks!

it covers the back of the 3rd row which becomes the floor behind the second row when folded down.

when the 3rd row is up, the mat has an articulated section that folds the excess material up neatly and flat. its a pretty neat design. its the middle section in the pic below.

its spilt where it covers the back of the 3rd row so if you only raise one side, the other side is still covered.

Thank you that's what I thought, but when the sales rep explained it to me, it sounded really weird and not what you just said.

I happened to have the Kagu rear mats and they are actually quite nice and they fold very nicely. I have pictures of it so I’ll upload them here. First picture is of the seats folded down, second picture is of the seats while they are coming up and you can see the mat is folding out. The third picture is with the seats fully up and you will see that the mat is tucked in nicely. I would most definitely recommend these, very convenient.

Thank you for the pics, this is a tremendous help. I got what Orient330 said but the pics help solidify that. When the 3rd row is up, does the mat velcro or attach to the back of the third row? Looks like I'll be ordering a cargo mat soon

3D maxpider are my favorite mats right now. Very clean look versus all the ridges and chanels on the other options.

I’m on my 6th set and have not had any scent issues.

If you look at the third picture, you’ll see there are straps that you would attach to the headrest that keeps the mat held up when the seat is up. When folding and unfolding the seats, you really don’t have to do a thing.

Experiencing the same issue -- blocking a vent below the 3rd row bench.

Is this indeed the heater vent? Picture of 3D MAXSPIDER 3rd row mats included.

Hmmm. Thanks for showing this. I have the same mats. I hadn't noticed this but will take a closer look. I love my mats, but poor design if it's blocking the third row vents.

I ordered same and plan to trim it.

My wife got her 23 MB Amy gle 53 coupe yesterday and the mats also came from Amazon yesterday. Her axle jump cover for second row had to be trimmed. Very thing else fit perfect. Trimming was a breeze.

I just received my mats today and my X7 doesn’t go into production until week March 5th

I was wondering the same thing a EvanX- especially as we ordered ours with the BMW all weather mats (taking delivery next month- first BMW, first experience with these mats).

Curious if anyone has tried the backseat organizer that BMW offers and if anyone has tried the WeatherTech Baby/Child seat protector? We have two kids who will be in the back seat and want to minimize the damage they’ll do. We got the captains chairs.

On the BMW organizer- does anyone know if the BMW TCC Table would fit over the organizer (recognizing the we’d need to put a base in the headrest and not use the built in seat attachment)? Not sure how far out the table comes nor how far out the organizer comes.

Thanks for any insights.
