bonkers cars that make you smile

Some cars are totally unnecessary aren't they?
But I had a chance today to take a x5 m for a spin, it had me giggling and smiling from the outset.
Engine is amazing, such power in something so practical and heavy
I was stopping at traffic lights and trying not to be a man racer, but unfortunately I had to give it the beans and the horizon seems to come rushing towards you.
Needless to say I'm totally hooked.
Car I drove today was 96k, the instant discount is 17k without haggling on a new one.
Just thinking of going down to 1 car that will scare wife kids and dog to death.
Oh well anyone else with cars that made you go weak at the knees at first drive etc
Cheers happy

That's how I felt when I test drove the V10 E61 M5

I managed convince the wife that as it was an estate it was perfect for the little uns too....

Haha only kept it for about 5 months is was hilarious...... unfortunately 10 mpg is not hilarious from your only car. :

Sounds good fun! What fuel consumption did you get?

Yes that's kind of how I felt about my C63 AMG. Nobody needs a 6.2L V8 in a small estate car, and this was especially apparent when commuting and only being able to crawl along with every other vehicle, but it still made me

Porsche 997 Turbo S for me! Had a go in one and safe to say it was blisteringly quick. The ceramic brakes were awesome too once warmed up.

On my dream list if I can find one as they are pretty rare and knowing my luck by the time I'm ready they'll prob be worth double!

Heavy consumption is ok with low miles of say 8 to 10k. In reality it isn't a lot of extra cash to run something giving low 20s mpg and the smiles per gallon are worth it.
