You could consider painting the pieces. I spoof-canned my aluminum/blue trim with Rustoleum Satin Black and the result looks very good. Very quick/easy/cheap.
I figured if I screwed it up I could always purchase a CF kit. Dave. |

Two light coats of Rustoleum Satin Black. The texture of aluminum clearly shows through and the result looks fine. Dave. |

Other option is to source gloss black trim that's avail on the 228/230 but not on 235/240 for some reason. ~$200 from Brian at Sun.
