WOW! All I have to say is that's one hot little car!

Infiniti really outdid themselves here, I think, at least with exterior styling

It doesn't matter if it is old or new, it's about the decision that most folks in the coupe market for under $45k will be faced with. The E92 is on the way, and guess what, so is the updated G35. The JAPS might have set a new benchmark in the coupe market this time.

Honestly, I think right now the Infiniti looks better than the BMW, but let's give the BMW a chance. It doesn't have all of its camouflage off yet. Plus, that infiniti is under those special showroom lights. I'll make a final decision when I see a pic of the E92 under those same showroom conditions.

You guys are looking at pics of a concept G35 versus a camouflaged testing E92.. not really quite fair Anyways, the G35 will end up looking pretty good but I think a E92 in car show form will look hot also. Just wanted to point out those pics aren't really a fair comparison.

I don't see how this mini side mirrors are going to do anything functional.

The 2 styles are completely different. BMW is for people who want a more serious tone, while infiniti is looking for something more aggressive. Personally, I think the infiniti looks too... well... japanese and indistinct.

IS350, Mazda 6, G35, 2007 Camry, 350Z, S2000. It's all the same aggresive looking yet similair stuff. German cars look distinct. You know what it is.

That Infiniti is a concept car, but I like that they are staying true to the original design by evolving it.

NY Auto Show

Is it possible that BMW will have an E92 available for the NY Auto Show in March? Because it looks like Infiniti is going to launch the official G35, not Concept Coupe at the NY show. I am looking so forward to all of the magazine articles of these 2 cars head to head. As we all know, the E90 has won the hearts of all the magazines writers, so lets see if BMW is really prepared for next test.

You all have to admit this is exciting!

uh...can we stop with the "jap" stuff? You guys know that it was a derogatory way to refer to Japanese back in WWII right? That's just inappropriate.

I've noticed that most BMW owners are very ignorant and closed minded.....
it's just sad to see people with high IQ acting like they're still in the stone age.

Oh well....whatever floats your boat.....keep it real!

Chil Out Lieutenant, it's just a modern day abbreviation, no disrespect intended! Nothing against the Japanese accept for compliments. I am sure they would be very pleased if they read this forum right now, it's just what they want.

They're not mirrors. They are mini cameras that that transmit/wire toa screen inside the car. This is likely a feature that will not go from concept to reality

uh, ok "private".

It doesn't matter if the disrespect is intended or not. The fact of the matter is that there's a history behind the term and it's not a positive one.

It's far more reasonable for you and other posters just to stop using it. Have some class.

I don't want to turn this into a racial discussion...obviously whether people continue to use the term or not is up to them, but I felt compelled to at least bring it up.

Hopefully people will realize that being ignorant and racist, whether intended or not, isn't ok.

i think the new acura SUV-thing is going to be produced without side mirrors and will instead have those camera things. long overdue in my opinion. exterior mirrors suck! they hold water, make wind noise, and cut down on aerodynamics, and get scraped up easily by idiots whose doors hit them.

Welcome to BMW owner's circle.
Reason why every other automobile enthusiasts hate bmw owners.

Posting anything other than BMW in this forum(or bmw forum in general) is worthless.

p.s: high IQ my sorry ass. more like plain biased cocky motherBLAHs.
