If you just want get rid of your car and not get another one. Try to get someone else to take over your lease like on leasetrader.com or similar.

put lease takeover add on craigslist. My friend just did this successfully. As long as payment is not insane someone will take it over.

The payment is really cheap for what it is. Thanks for the suggestions!

I just got out of mine 2 yrs early...and got payoff amount on my car, so walked away even. It's possible.

try swapalease.com, if your payment is low and the remaining term isn't too long, should be fairly easy to move it.

I traded it in for a 435i--dealer gave me pay off on my F30--as I was WAAAAAY under miles, and car was in excellent condition, had the F30 335 for a yr, and only had 4k miles on it.

Oh that's why. Mine has 17k out of 30k miles allotted for my 36 mo. lease and I still have another year. What my dealer offered me as a payoff I would still owe $6k difference.

That's surprising --I'd think you would get a figure more towards your payoff as your payoff would be lower since it's been 2 yrs into the lease
