Do the sheets you ordered look like they will fit? I may just get some as I don't want to be taking it back apart later.

Weird, sounds like something is not installed right. I also had my KW HAS installed today too, but drove it 20 miles with no popping or pinging sound issues. My guy only dropped the front about .75 in and .6 in rear and wanted it to ride and settle for a month to do any further adjustments.

Im scheduled to get this worked on Tuesday. To reiterate, kw has told me that the sound is b/c how the m3's front suspension is designed, as opposed to a product or install flaw. Just in case, I sent the link to my installer buddy, but we have quadruple checked his installation by now. Hopefully the sheets fix the binding noise. Otherwise im going to be installing eibachs b/c I dont wanna have to be cleaning and greasing the front suspension all the time to keep it quiet.

That's a weak response. Why release a product that makes your $70K+ sports car sound like a covered wagon going across the Rockies? Maybe because there are more customers like me that just buy their coilovers after buying their springs that make noises.

I agree...I was really hoping for more help from them. At the time I hadn't known anyone else had the issue so I didn't make a big deal about it..not sure it woulda mattered anyways.

Update. Took my car to BMW and had the awesome tech there (serious) check out my car. He tightened my sway bars in the rear and the adjuster pins on the front. All problems gone. No noises anymore! So it was installer (me) error lol.

Car feels amazing. Im all the way down up front and about 3/4 inch drop in the rear. No noises, no clicking, and very stock like ride. I would recommend and recommend qualified professional install haha. Seems like bad installs leave these noisy even back on the e9x.

Shout out to Golan at AutoTalent for hooking me up with these, giving me a great deal, and answering my tons of questions.

Pics will be in my build thread shortly

I was having some clicking sounds on mine, took it to my dealership and they fixed it all up. Been over a month since that and have had zero issues since. Dropped the whole way as well.

Glad you got it corrected,I should have done the KW HAS sooner, ride is definitely not harsh compliant with stock. I also did 15/12 mm spacers, the car stance looks so much better now.

Brainstorming here...it seems most people that are trouble shooting and fixing their noise have the HAS at a pretty low, or really low setting. We have ours about as high as they can go in front, and given the fact cleaning and greasing the springs made them temporarily quiet, could being at the highest of positions be causing the bind?

I don't think so. Mine is lowered conservatively - maybe 1" in front and 1/3" in rear and zero popping or pinging noises for over a month, including driving through rain, etc. and screwing around w/ height adjustments at all 4 corners.

It really sounds like an install issue - but specifically more to do with pre-loading the suspension before tightening down things like sway bar end links, etc. vs. an installation issue w/ the shock/spring assembly.

I think it can be fixed without the sheets. I drove around for 3 hours yesterday in varying conditions and I didn't hear a noise.

hello everyone . I have the same problem but after instalation H&R lowering springs. The sounds totally annoying especially at close parking, feels like cars starts falling apart. And unfortunatly i'm first who encountered in Russia with this case.
p.s. Vehicle was inspected about 3 times, everything looks fine
