My KW Clubsports were quiet at first ... now they are making noises again. The Clubsports come full assembled so all you have to do it bolt in the camber plate and go. So the install can't be the issue here. I need to take my wheels off and check to see if the springs are rubbing and causing the sound.

I wouldn't be too worried as most people that have experienced noise can relate it back to install error. im the only one I know of that is having noise regardless, and ive had my mechanic, and 2 bmw mechanics all check out the install and can't find any issues. I also don't know anyone who is at the least amount of drop possible like me up front, as that could be a contributor.

As the weather turned cold... I am very displeased with them.

Embarrassing sounds... I would not do the HAS again.

Just my opinion.

No issues here. I also has the popping noise but it was me who did not properly tighten/torque down the sway bar end links. Quiet like stock suspension.

Love the ride on HAS!

Make sure you tighten the bolt where the strut sits.

I installed mine myself and this was never a worry - Remove the sway bar nut with an air gun and then do it back up as tight as possible. Drop the car down on its wheels and then really tighten then up to ensure no play.

No issues with noise on suspension.

The twist the turn of the springs can some time produce noise even though there is a top bearing, on the bottom it's just the spring against the seat. End links are typically the culprit anyway.

Does the HAS kit limit choices on wheels? I noticed someone was selling some wheels and mentioned he had to use a 5MM spacer to clear his KW sleeve.

Im not sure if his wheel offset was the problem of it thats normal for F8X and the HAS kit.

Looked at mine again today.

Endlinks are good... Just a shit ton of missing yellow paint from the springs hitting each other.

Both sides equal amount.

coils hitting each other is a highly probably source of noise.

Unless that portion is the helper section of the spring, then it is normal(the contact is, but not the noise).

The bottom section of the main springs have a semi-transparent rubber sleeve over the first few coils. I wonder if that is a fix for earlier version w/ rubbing coils. Just a guess.

Earlier in this thread, I think someone posted a part number for a rubber isolator from a Nissan/Infinity. That might eliminate your coils from rubbing/binding.

I was told directly from KW that there a a few coils in the front that are designed to touch under load and it was completely normal.

The front springs are progressive and the rear are linear.

So, completely normal and completely embarrassing go hand-in-hand??

Time to try out the Bilstein's.

It is a constant creaking sound and low speeds. Never again.

(Yes, everything is torqued and tightened correctly)

I now understand way I see so many used sets for sale.

I found my creaking sound. Was extremely happy. I did not tighten the bolt where the shock struts sit on in the front. Install error. My KW HAS are super quiet now just like stock.

We installed the KW HAS on my friends M4 and since then he had some clunky/popping noise from the REAR when he drove over bumby roads.
It's about 1" lowred all around.

Anybody also had some noise from the rear??
