335d power loss at speed

My car started playing up today, went out for a few hours, car was fine for most of the day, on way home and it started playing up.
Got on motorway and opened up the taps, car gets to 80, and won't go any faster. Literally no power at all.
Slowed right down to a standstill and floored it, very gentle acceleration, like I have no turbo boost at all.
Got home and let the car cool down for a couple of hours and just taken it out for a spin, accelerates fine through first and second, into third still going ok until I hit 80 then hit the glass wall again, even using the paddles to shift up and down the car still won't go any faster than 80.

No warning lights on the dash, gonna call my dealer tomorrow.

Anyone got any suggestions prior?

That's really weird! Does the car make any noises?

It was the turbine actuators, BMW have replaced two of them.
