The build quality on my 2022 was much better than the 2023 I had, but the 2025 has superb build quality from everything I can see and is much quieter inside than my 2023. The wind noise in my 2023 build drove me insane, as well as multiple check engine lights etc.
Yeah. And another thing I'm noticing is maybe they changed the dampening settings on the shocks or sway bar sizes? The 2025 doesn't seem to sway or jostle me around as much as previous x7's. The ride feels more dampened and refined. Idk. Could be new car placebo.

Above driving experience is "without" the DHP, right?

Do you think, with the DHP, the driving experience would be about the same? Better? Worse? Logically, should not be any worse, right?

Asking because, when i test drove (two) 2025 X7's on the lot, both did not have DHP, and i don't know, felt like "driving a boat", on turns, turning at a speed of something between 20-30 mph'ish.

DHP definitely helps, but it can’t change the laws of physics. It is a boat with a high center of gravity.

The straight line ride of my m60i I feel is basically the same as the 40i. The difference with DHP is flatter through turns. The active sway bars counter the lean. For me it doesn't matter. I don't mind a little lean. This biggest difference with dhp is the turning circle with the rear steer. It makes the X7 seem way smaller turning around. There are people who swear you absolutely have to have dhp. I'm equivocal. If a car I was buying had it, fine. If I'm ordering, I'm not getting it. For me it's more complicated stuff that I don't really care about. Don't get me wrong, I will four wheel drift the boat through an off ramp when I'm by myself. Being flatter as I'm doing it doesn't change anything.
