Dinan Stage 2 Tune at the Track?

Debating about the Dinan stage 2 (from PPK) - curious if anyone has tracked their car with the stock intercooler and the stage 2 tune. Planning to do 1 track event in the spring and fall; usually try to avoid the summer due to temps.

Will the Stage 2 tune send me into limp mode at the track? Normally run 4 * 20 min sessions. I have a stock oil cooler. Had no issues with the PPK at Summit Point in March.

Thoughts?

Is it a N55 or N54? and id suggest adding MoCool or Redline Water wetter both have had good results... I ran a 45 min session last weekend here in TX @ roughly 85degrees. with MoCool but a Cobb stage 2 OTS map pushing like 16lbs boost and never hit above 250 ( n55 btw)

Also Dinan speeds up the water pump to compensate for higher temps, so id think you'd be fine.

Thanks - its an N55 motor. I'll look into the MoCool - thanks for the heads up. Now, if I could only figure out how to square up a set of 255s...

Run mutol 8100 thats API SN (personal preference but it is some amazing stuff!), change oil fluid and filter before and after. Should be fine. I would bet by the end of that session your oil would be close to toast if it holds 250+ degrees for over an hour. Well, that is if your oil gets that hot. Just monitor temps and change the fluids before and after should be more than good though considering you only have the PPK.

Also, If you are MT then no worries, If you are AT, be careful of transmission temps also as they can send you into limp mode as well.
