Mine showed up today. I have used aftermarket ones from Amazon in the past on a different BMW with no issues. Those were $9 for two. These I got from bmwpartspros we’re $100 for 2. I will see if they are worth the extra money and report back.

I would love them if they could animate a little or probably project B M W each letter showing after another one in an animated style.

Now that would be extra cool, to have something animated. Sadly, I think these are just light lenses, but I like the way you think, and if you ever figure out how to do that, I think there's lots of us on here that would be interested.

Yup the ones I got in Amazon is 16 bucks for 4 but the sales advisor told me not to install it as it would void the factory warranty and risk electrical short circuit etc and scared the s*** out of me

However I can’t seem to find the part in bmwpartapros for 2019 X7
Can you please tell me the part number ?

I asked the bmw dealer and their inventory did not have the ghost lights in the lights section

Don’t they come with this already, or is this different? The “Individual” symbol projects into the ground when i open my doors.

Just installed them. They look the same as the ones I had gotten for my last BMW of Amazon. The ones from partspros however are LED. I don’t remember if the cheap amazon ones were as well. If you go to bmwpartspros just select the tab and the top that says “BMW technology” and it’s the first item. They are universal across BMW, not specific to one model. Install is super easy, although you have to kind of force the side opposite of the side it plugs in.

It’s LED but the connector that comes along with the ghost lights has only 2 pins instead of 4

Did have you any problems with the one from bmwpartpros?

The ones from partspros are the same ones they sell at the dealership. No issues except having to use a little force to get them to go in.
