More X7 LCI information

Thanks to ynguldyn for posting this update in the Future BMW Model Information thread here:

G07 LCI is second after G70 in getting the new TÜ2 iteration of B58 in xDrive40i. The power gets bumped to 375hp. The lineup also includes xDrive40d for other parts of the world (the TÜ3 revision of B57), M50i and Alpina XB7. The last two are the real puzzles. We're used to seeing S engines only in proper M cars but these models are going to get the brand new S68. Stranger still, the output remains at 523hp and 612hp as today. All models will get the 48V system. Oh, and the new dashboard is making an appearance, of course.
Interesting info. Not completely sold yet on the dashboard.

And since it's sure to come up again, the X7 LCI is still scheduled for production start in August 2022 as a MY2023.

I am a long term player with my X7M50 so I don’t see anything that would make me make a move in at least the next 5 years or so.

Nothing in the LCI is truly earth shattering given it still won't probably have all the options offered in the 2020. I am curious what they will do with the front and back when revealed. Nothing that will make me get out of what I presently have but I like window shopping

More engine info added in ynguldyn's thread linked in OP:

Quote:
B58 TÜ2 details (this is not my original research but copied from another thread that has flown under the radar, I'll link to it if the OP allows it): the extra power in the M level engine (B58B30M2) comes from a completely reworked intake manifold and a larger turbo. The two port exhaust manifold of the M1 remains in place. Notably (this is my own info again), there are still no traces of the O2 engine - could it be because the O level is being phased out with M level's output now being almost equal?
