% off MSRP

I live in the Chicago area. Is anyone getting a significant amount off at MSRP? One dealership offered me $1000 off, another just $500. Im curious to see if I should be pushing for more. Thanks!

For M60i or 4.0i? Seems to be a big discrepancy between the two.

They offered me$1000 off of either (we were on the fence with which one to go with).

That's fairish for the M60i in your location, not for the 4.0i. Auto brokers have been in the 3% range for the 60i but from geographic areas that aren't cold.

FYI the "40"i engine is actually a 3.0

It also depends on the relationship you have with your dealer. When I was shopping for my next SUV, I was choosing between the X5 and X7. Regardless which one I choose, my sales guy said he'd take $2k off MSRP. Apart from the dealer incentives they had at the time (BMW loyalty, etc). As a side note -- I've bought a few cars from them and have also given him business from family / friends over the years. So he took care of me.

In the end I chose the X5 45e because it met my needs and it was also nice to avail of the $7500 federal tax credit

Obviously, old habits die hard. They ruined it all the way back with the 550 in what was it 2008 or so when it had the 4.8.

can get decent discount for 40i, maybe not for M60i. I got 10% off on 40i, with a mandatory $1600 glasscoat option, SF bayarea

yes, 24 model. I don't have too much incentives handy, but 10% is before my $750 corporate rebate

Was the 10% off on custom order? The best I got off a broker was 6% on a custom order. Regardless 10% - That’s a good a deal!!

I am local which dealer did you use? Peter Pan only doing MSRP on custom orders.

There are 8 24’ on the lot at Stevens Creek. I don’t see how they won’t give discounts at this point.

you can check with BMW of SF, manager Michael. I called earlier and Stevens Creek/Peter Pan refused to offer comparable price. BMW fremont could offer depending on what you have as counter offer.

Wow 10% off MSRP is amazing.
Best I’m doing on. 40i is 3%.
I’m holding out for a bit more to make the purchase. Seems like 6% (pre-incentives) is a fair number to purchase at.
If anyone knows anyone offering that please PM me. I’m ready to purchase now if I can get that deal.

same here: got 10% off MSRP on my 24 x7 40i custom build at SF BMW, w/ $1700 mandatory glasscoat.
I'll need to spend $1000+ for shipping from SF to Seattle. but still a very good deal.
waiting on allocation for June production

2% plus $750 from BMW Financial on a ‘24 M60 custom order Best I could do. Long term customer at my local dealership and referred several others to them over the years. Lease deals were horrible so we purchased this time around
