Black m performance grills are going to cost $$$
I’m going to hold judgement, lx 570 is historic and the MB needs some work. IMO, you cross shop Range Rover and you either love or hate the interior of that truck.

Based on comps
X7 35 ~ $75k
Nicely equipped $85k, equal to a nicely optioned X5 50i
X7 50i ~$95k
Nicely equipped $110k, which equals a 750i

Decent alternative...............The 2018 Dodge Durango SRT is powered by a 392-cubic-inch HEMI V8 engine that produces 475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. It can go from standstill to 60 miles per hour (mph) in 4.4 seconds. The engine is mated to the TorqueFlight eight-speed automatic transmission and comes standard with a performance-tuned all-wheel drive system.

The Parthenon grille should fit quite nicely where the misshapen kidneys are situated.

Bigger Vehicles get more "Bling." Look at the Cadillac Escalade, a Ford Super Duty Trucks. Look at today's larger vehicles, the big grills, lots of chrome, much flash. There is no mistaking any of these beasts from their lowly brethren, it seems the X7 is no exception, you will not mistake an X7 from an X5, X3, Q7 or Escalade from 1/4 mile away... and that is the point!

Instead of investing in the i8 or an all electric SUV that could be within 8/10s of a Tesla they mess around with these sorts of perversions. very sad and mind boggling

Agree, that grill is awful looking.
How confident are you in that all pre production cars get crushed.... I once owned a pre-production X5. Curious as to your source?

Direct from the PC staff when I saw the new M5 (G90) last week, was told the vehicle just filmed a new commercial to be released next month, then goes to CES, then crushed. I was asked not to share the photos I took, as I have known the staff since 2004. Look at the description of what pre-production vehicles go through, it's extreme testing before production. Trust me, BMW destroys lots of test vehicles. Information is also from the professional drivers/test engineers that train the participants at the German BMW Driving Experience Events, as I had the current VP of BMW M train me for 2 days on the ring.

I wonder what the m sport trim will look like. I think this package/trim is crucial to so many modern bmw's. Standard bumper design just doesn't do it
