Does the exhaust sound get piped in through the stereo?

Yes, if I use the Park assist button while driving, it does turn on the front and 360 camera. There could be another way as well.

No clue about the exhaust sound. I like my cabin as quiet as possible.

Also when turns are coming up, the augmented reality view shows up in the steering wheel screen. Can be switched to main screen if you want.


Iconic sounds I honestly can’t tell the difference when they’re on or off…

Yes. The only OEM exhaust silencing valves are installed in two of the four pipes after the muffler. The valves on my X7 are always open and there is a distinct increase in rumble/growl exhaust sound switching from Comfort to Sport mode. It sounds good but is fake. The world we live in now.
