About to order an X7

I’ve owned many BMWs and have used bimmerpost to benchmark pricing but could not find such a thread here.

I am about to pull trigger on a 2023 X7 6 cyl and the best deal I could find was $1k under MSRP. I know in the current market it seems everyone is paying MSRP or more for cars, but just don’t want to accept that as the case with the X7.

Dealer has an allocation for a car that is going into production any day and may be here by end of August (probably means September).

Just wanted to get thoughts from the group.

I didn’t even inquire about a discount. I just don’t see that happening in this market, especially for a new model (sorta). My view is if you can get $1k off then go for it.

Dealers in my area are tackling a $2000 "Market Adjustment" on top of MSRP. We were able to negotiate that off and are paying MSRP, lucky you to get a discount, they seem to be far and few between.

I just ordered 23 and got $2800 discount

There are a few I got quotes from. Passport BMW will do 2700 and Alexandria. Fortunately the SA at Alexandria is my good friends dad so he might give me a better deal than passport

I paid MSRP for an M50i 3 weeks ago, but was given a generous allowance for my trade. Selling it myself would have netted me about $7K less, I estimate. So I have no complaints about MSRP.

I ended up $2K off MSRP. Happy where I landed, pulled trigger Friday and car is already in production.

I ordered mine last week as well. I got $2,800 off MSRP. Its scheduled for production. Now just wait and researching warranty plans.
