Had these carbon side blades sat around for a while. Got around to finding some 2mm thick pads to stick them on today. I think they will blend in better with darker wheels.

I put a coat of Gtechniq C1 on about 10 months ago. The dealer did a good job of prep so I didn't need to have it machine polished first. Now I only top up with a basic spray wax for gloss every 2-3 jet washes.

Thanks. I'm debating whether or not to go for a full ceramic and am not sure if it's worth it.

I was getting quotes of £2000 plus for ceramic by the Pro's. Thought feck it let's see what I can do after watching some youtube DIY's.
Key learnings: - make sure the paint is good with a strong LED torch before you start. Mine was okay, the dealer wasn't inept so it just needed a light hand polish and alcohol wipe down. Any scratches will live on just as visible under the coating and wont polish out without a machine in future. - Buy a 20 pack of good quality microfibres, you will use them all and have the throw them away after. - Indoor or covered space is less stressful if possible |

Test fit of the new wheels and tyres today. So far so good. Car was horrible after all the storms in the UK, so I quickly waved the jet wash over it before taking a snap

Managed to find a complete set of base M5 sway / roll bars for good price. I think the rear will go right on. The front might need some adjustable links to work. The goal is to have the car corner a little flatter without impacting the lovely ride quality it has right now. Taking off the run flats is night and day for comfort!
