Frozen Portimao not Frozen MBB???

interesting with frozen MBB being the launch color and MBB being a new M60 series color

The design is very Asian. But Audi is now following the same trend. Mercedes next?

I'm sure Porsche will not follow suit.

Still looks good IMO. It just feels weird to me, the rear looks dated compared to the new front.

You know a design is bad when they won't show photos of it with the actual headlights on.

I do have to hand it to the designer who incorporated it into the lower boomerang though. Pretty clever use of an existing design.

Looks better than what I expected. Many will like it and buy one. I recall many die-hards hated the X7 when it debuted, it's déjà vu all over again.

Everything looks pretty good but the split headlights are awful.

It looks great. I thought it looked pretty good in the launch photos and it’s grown on me even more. Looking forward to owning one when my current lease is up.

The new design is getting exactly the same reaction on this forum as pretty much every new design gets in the forum for the model being superseded.

Headlights not my favorite but the rest is good. Perhaps they will grow on me like M3/M4 grill

Overall looks great but the split headlights kill it for me.

Why won’t they show it with the headlights on?

they HAVE shown it with the headlights on. They have those photos on the same page that introduces the facelift. Noting the box under the car, they're running power to it to keep it from dying on the grass, so why would they turn the headlights on and risk offending their onlookers by shining those headlights directly into their childrens' eyes?

Presentation is everything.

I like the proportions, but the exterior styling is short on class and beauty.

Those aren't the headlights. The upper "eyebrows" are DRLs. Headlights are the lower portion.

The enthusiasts on this site from my count are leaning on not liking the design. If you're on this site, you really give a crap about the brand. Unfortunately, we make up a small percentage of actual owners. No matter how split we may be on the looks……this thing will probably sell like hotcakes to the masses.

The headlights, Im not a fan of but could see me driving it. When my 2021 lease is up, I'll most likely downsize or keep it. For the wife and I only, it gives us ample room for hiking gear, luggage, kayaks, etc to fit our lifestyle so Im not looking to upgrade into another X7, but who knows when I get to the end of my lease, they may have a slightly used one on the lot that catches my eye.

I'm still waiting to see them with the headlights on a regular basis instead of picking and choosing when to display them. Would hate to get into a front end accident with all those lights on the front end. It's going to cost about $20k for a small fender bender 😂

Haha… think again…

The almighty Porsche is following Hyundai as well.
Get used to the look.

I really like the rear taillights with the connecting bar(?). Very modern and sculptural. If it's easy enough, I would do a swap.

Looks mean but not a fan of the split headlights so far…at least on dark colors it works pretty well…

This would look insane with a similar headlight as the iX…

BMW has successfully destroyed the beautiful front end of yet another brand new vehicle.

The more I see it the more I'm getting used to it front end, however it does depend on the exterior colour IMO. Some colours make the car look more aggressive especially with the black trims. I do like the Portimao Blue!

I would say trend sells cars and therefore the OEMs follow them. Whether good or bad is a another story

Contrary to many others here I really like the new design. It's better than the pre LCI in my opinion. Those lights always bothered me because you saw that the designer wanted to make those light als thin as possible but had to compromise and came up with what they had. Now however this is exactly what it was supposed to be from the beginning.

Again I am sold. Not too sure about this look on the new 7 but to me it isn't as awful as others make it out to be.
