When the X7 came out with its giant grille...GASP! What is BMW doing. Now..it's the good version, the NEW version...GASP! what is BMW doing?
Rinse...repeat. I've heard this cycle before. I remember when the E39 came out...GASP! what is BMW doing? Now it's the best 5 series ever and and ever will be...or something like that. I don't remember who the internet was blaming back then, but today the Chinese get a lot of the blame for BMW's designs. |

Well the other iterations of BMW'S design cues were original. This is obviously an aisan trend that's not going to age well. BMW is on the other side of history with this one.

If BMW can get away from angel eyes, they should give up that double grill. Design a better looking single grill. There are many other manufactures out there that have even larger grill but it looks more acceptable.

It looks like I will be able to get a great deal for LCI as 99% of people hate it... or only those who could not wait any longer and got current version and now are jealous about this aggressive design

Hate to say it, but the split headlights look way better on the X7 than they do on the new 7 Series. They are still ugly, but the implementation is much better and more cohesive (and the hood line is where it is supposed to be).

Yes, I think they look pretty bad on the 7 series. The X7 is better.

(I am going to be a little sad when we get to the next page of this thread ..)
.. high waist jeans and all. I will say it again. Just like high waist jeans work for some, there is nothing wrong with the headlights on the LCI. I would have been fine with them. I think folks protesteth too mucheth. I am still waiting for my newly ordered 22 X7. I'm fine with that too. |

100% agree. My dealer called me and asked if I would be interested in the MY 23 as there were 8 people in line for the MY22. I said, "thank you for the info, but I would like to keep my MY22 order".

It's growing on me. Not so much the 7 series.

I'd be happy to get one of the pricing is right - would be good to have more boot space, not so bothered about 3rd row as it would hardly get used.
