Strange Beep

I have a continual low-level beep coming every 30 seconds or so from under the rear of my vehicle (X7) when turned off and parked. I am not seeing any warnings. Can anyone suggest what might be causing it? Thanks for any suggestions!

Might be helpful to record a clip of it.

It is just a single 1 second beep at about 1000 hz every 30 seconds or so. Vehicle is turned off and parked.

For those of you wondering how 1000hz sounds, here is the sample

And no, I don't know what this could be.

I suspected that

I had a service appointment today and of course it was gone and they had no idea what the cause might be

Can this be related to the mild hybrid electrical components? I'm very sensitive to all kinds of low and high pitch noises and I noticed my 2021 X7 sometimes makes it while driving. The sound comes either from the second row or somewhere in the trunk. It is very quiet, my wife doesn't hear it, but I definitely notice it.

Getting closer! It doesn't happen unless the car is in or near my garage and under those conditions, the red light on the front of the mirror also flashes. I am wondering if it is GPS location related.

Thanks. I guess that is possible but it also beeps when the vehicle is outside facing the garage with the door open.
I did figure out that the flashing red light starts whenever the vehicle is locked.

I thought the beep might be GPS position related since it only occurs at my home near or in the garage, so I deleted my home address in the menu. No change at all. I am also finding similar posts to mine on other forums with no solution. I also contacted a "Genius" who had no clue. She promised a call-back, but I never received one. I give up!

Curious if the noise coincides withe the flashes of the red light. If so, could be a relay in the security system as I believe that is what the light is for. Just a thought.

No. The red light flashes every second or so and only does so when the vehicle is locked as it is supposed to. The beep has a duration of about 1 second and occurs approximately every 30 seconds whether the vehicle is locked or not.

Do you have your phone in your pocket or near you when this happens?

Does it happen outside of your residence/garage/area? With motion or light changes or not?

I even tried deleting my "Home Address" and then changing it to another address. It almost has to be GPS related, but
I can't figure out how it knows where I live

Not sure if its the same "beep" but I had a mystery beep for a day, and culprit turned out to be that I had not lowered one of the 3rd row seats 100%, only about 99%. It was a subtle yet constant beep. drove me nuts. My 12 year old figured it out!

In case like this, you should have gotten a notification on your instrument cluster that 3rd row is not locked.
