Praying for no Hail Damage!!!

The results of climate change are once again rearing its monstrous head as strong storms, tornadoes and large hail blitz the midwest. The last couple of days have been amazing weather wise. February in Chicago normally means digging out of snow measured in feet not inches. I've only had my M50 for a couple of weeks and I would have never imagined I would be driving with the roof open so soon... I was almost home... Then it began to rain, then really rain... then small hail... Oh how I wanted to to kick it into sport mode ... Then large hail... I parked and without looking ran inside for cover... I'll check for damage come daylight... Pray with me....LOL

I stopped reading after your first 5 words. Good luck with the storms. I hope you, your family, and your cars are safe.

The premise of your Climate Change equaling any significant change is flawed and not representative of the common blustery late winter/early spring weather in the mid west. Be on the look out, you might get significant snow in the winter time in Chicago.
The misplaced drama and hysteria is better placed on an actual emergency and not insinuating a social political premise that not many readily subscribe to.

That said, if your post was in jest and not serious then we need a JK emoji after it.

Me too. Climate has been changing since the dinosaurs but only now some people found out they can make money by using those words.

I did a simple google search for the highest temps in the month of February for the city I live. It got up to 69° F on the 27th…and when I look at the data for myself (instead of falling for the hype) I can see that warm February temps comes in cycles. The highest temp of 73° F occurred in 2000 which was 24 years ago. So its probably not the end of days when you look over a long period of time and see that temps in the upper 60s/lower 70s has occurred many times over the last century. .

Climate change and prayer aside, I hope the op checks back in with an update. I live in the Chicago area too and there was quite a bit of damage around the area.

Visiting from the X5 forum, couldn't resist posting this photo. Texas size hail (obviously not a BMW sunroof).

Did our prayers come through? We need updates. If our C02's caused the climate change which caused damage to your car, I will be the first to pledge I will get rid of all my ICE cars so we can reverse the climate to normalcy and this won't happen to you again. I was going to protest with my fellow neighbors against the harmful lithium mining going on near my home but now I can see its truly for the greater good of all humanity so we can all go electric... nevermind the mining causing harm to me and my family's health and the environment. Regardless, I'm sorry to all for all the emissions I've created causing harm to the weather. Praise be to the climate change agenda. Amen...
