Lol indeed! I was told by Genius that it was scheduled to be delivered to BMW Of Austin by 11/08 but have a feeling it will be here sooner. Regardless, I think realistically it will be ready for pick up next week.

I was originally told 11/5, but it's looking unlikely now. I agree it should be ready early next week. We've waited for over a month, so I guess a few more days won't hurt (too much)

Tracking system shows the car is "at the dealership" today, but salesperson just told me there's a "full process" and it won't be ready for pickup until next week? Is it normal?

My experience was that I was expecting the car to be ready for pickup after they did all the new car prep work. I wanted to get it before Super Bowl weekend. They wanted to put it in some queue to be done “Monday or Tuesday”. I called and complained and they ended up getting it done that day and we picked it up that evening. Yay!!

Thanks for letting me know! Man this sucks. Knowing the car is 20 minutes away and you can't get it for another 4 or 5 days...

Tell them not to do the new car prep. You don't want them putting the car through an automatic wash or using some poor quality detailing service to prep it.

Anyways, I had a conversation with my sales rep and he was able to speed up the process and now I can pick up the car on Saturday. Fingers crossed...

Yes! I'll try to take some pictures this week with my mirrorless camera and upload.

Does the tracking system show your car is at the dealership? My salesperson did tell me sometimes even though the system says it's at the dealership, the car is actually still in transit. But as you said, I'm sure it'll show up very soon.

Looking forward to seeing the pics. It’s strange, it was at Dispatched From Factory but then went back to Awaiting Carrier Assignment. I’m not sure what is happening but hopefully it’ll be figured out this coming week.
