I went with the AWRON valve controller for my G80 M3 and I’ll be adding it to my upcoming X7 M60i as well: https://www.awron.de/en/produkt-kate...-reihe/x7-g07/

On my M3 for less than $600 installed it has transformed the way the exhaust sounds.

Do you have an idea of where this would be mounted? Seems like the install guide is not available.

Does changing the sound note from Dynamic, to Comfort to Sport actually change the exhaust note externally? Or does it just change it internally, as in, what is pumped into the cabin through the speakers?

I had a 2022 XB7. I have a full cat back exhaust that works with the factory exhaust controls. Sound is totally different. Wakes up the car. I only put 4000 miles on it. Meister Schaft. I'm selling. Good price

I just gave my shop my deposit for a Meisterschaft exhaust for my 2025 Alpina XB7. 2-3 weeks for the exhaust to be built (GTHaus had just sold the last 2 they had in stock) and then one day bolt-on installation. I cannot wait. I'll post examples of the sound if people want to hear it. I could only find one single video of a meisterschaft exhaust on an Alpina XB7 online and it sounds amazing but I've never heard it in person.

I got the vehicle back yesterday (2-3 weeks turned into 5 weeks, naturally, but my shop put it on the next day) and the Meisterschaft exhaust is quieter than I expected. Here's a video. I did not want it to be too loud, and turns out it's a little less loud than I would have liked, probably. So if you're looking for a very loud exhaust I don't think this is it. I think it's perfect for me - it's essentially the same sounds as the OEM exhaust (which was already much louder than the m60i) but turned up a little, with a more audible lower rpm note. The pops and bangs at the end of the rev are satisfying. I wish some of the lower notes were louder but like I said I didn't want it too loud. In Comfort mode with the valves closed you can hardly even tell the exhaust is upgraded. I don't know how the GTHaus Meisterschaft compares to other exhaust in price or performance or sound but I like it so far.

Thanks for responding! I did contact Meisterschaft, and they sent me a video they had done on an x7 M60i, I wasn't blown away, I wanted something a little more aggressive. As long as your happy with it that's all that matters. Im currently thinking of doing a cat back exhaust through the guys at Fi.
