In the starting phases of a 5k road trip. X7 has performed admirably so far. Really impressive vehicle.
Vegas to Moab was uneventful except for truckers pulling in front of me at the last second to pass another truck at 0.0001mph speed differential. And they wondered why I was pissed. Arches was fabulous. 1st Pic. Day 2 was UT 128 out of Moab towards I-70. Definite must do if you're heading east out of Moab or heading west into Moab. Went to the Colorado National Monument (second pic). Spectacular views at every turn. Do it. Decided to take my wife up Independence pass. She is not a fan of heights. It went as well as you'd expect. She did say that if we went off the edge we'd have time to rewrite our wills before hitting the bottom. I'm not a great "let's take a cool pic of the car" guy so you get what you get. Don't know why the pics are rotated wrong either.

We are still waiting for our X7 40d to arrive but usually I get a Viofo dashcam for all of our cars. X7 has a built in drive recorder feature so I thought I wouldn't need to install an additional dashcam but that install looks very clean and I would love to learn more about it. How does it compare to the built in dashcam? |

Data from 3 week road trip. Not bad. Sorry for the blur on the second photo. Caffeine still having effects.

Finally received its certification. I had friends on that death star.

Just picked this up today for my bday 2025 40i Carbon over Coffee. Huge upgrade over my F15 X5, but why don’t we have comfort access on the rear doors!!!! my x5 had this and it’s so important when getting kids in the back.
