Normal or would claim at next oil change??

The lens is discoloring

Both driver and passenger rear lenses

claim it, it looks like the lens is delaminating.

Edit: On second look at the last picture, looks like there are some scratches on the body paint as well. Wouldn't be surprised if the dealer attempts to deny warranty coverage claiming that the car was in some kind of accident that resulted in internal damage to the lenses.

I dont see any paint scratches, i think thats the base layer of the lens delaminating or the paint reflecting, if thats what you are seeing

Ah ok, got you. The metallic top third of the image is clearly part of the body, and the lower third red part is clearly part of the light, but I was confused by the middle third area, which looked like a part of the metallic body due to the silver-ish reflections.

I added more pictures. The part in question drivers rear corner. That gray without sparkles is actual black plastic part of lens.

Thinking’s now with bmw nothing is minor and trivial.
