Actual MSRP may vary. Dealer contribution may vary and could affect your actual lease payment.

Was offered about 5% off MSRP from a NY/NJ area dealer. Seem like a decent deal?

Decent deal. Local dealer wouldn't budge off MSRP on price for pre-order. I can tell you using USAA car buying service - there was a $6000 off offered on a $95K MSRP for a car in stock about 3 hours away.

Looking to place order in Toronto
Any Canadian dealers on this forum, or any posters who have placed an order at a good price?
I’m ready to place an order for an X7, but am hoping to work with someone willing to give me a deal along the lines of invoice + X dollars. I’ve given a dealer a deposit but I’m going to withdraw given the unreasonable price they’re proposing. I’m based in Toronto, Ontario. |

As a Calgarian, I have to say that my experience with premium brand dealers pricing is anything but positive.
The last few purchases that I have made was MSRP pricing. I think with my last Merc I got a $1500 discount. I anticipate that for my BMW X7 purchase I'll get a keychain for free. Yay. |

Rates must be regional
Southeast US rates are 2.89% for X7. Lease money factor rates equates to about 4.5%. Residuals are in the mid to high 50s depending on mileage - not terribly great lease incentive.

Agree. BMW continues to punish early buyers of the X7. They kept our $1000 pre-order for 5 months, no discount from MRSP, reduced loyalty credit, horrible lease and finance conditions. They are selling us a 2019 car in April when the 2020 MY will be out in August. Chances are that we will be plagued with software and other glitches with the first cars. This is my last early buyer of any model. I will refuse to be a beta tester with penalties.

Live in Houston and my X7 should arrive this weekend. My dealer has agreed to give me the February loyalty credit of $1500 instead of the current $1250. So I get a $250 (0.25%) discount on a 100K car! That says a lot about how stingy these dealers are here. They also hit you hard on trade-in values. My dealer wants to pay over 2k lower than carmax offer for my clean 2014 X5 so the car goes to carmax.

Lease Deal
Pre-ordered Oct 17th. Car delivered to dealership and available for pickup March 7th.
740i with a lot of options MSRP: $94,245 (includes $995 destination charge) Agreed upon Capitalized Cost: $92,250 Loyalty Credit of $1,250 brought it to $91,000 They wouldn't honor the $1,500 from Feb, nor would they allow me to combine the USAA $250 incentive...frustrating. Lease Protection up to $5k for $1500 (pre-paid) 36mo, 12k lease, with MF of .0017 (4.08%) 6% sales tax puts the monthly payment at $1,317 |
