I placed 2 identical orders for a 23 and a 24 40i. I opted for the 24 because of all the reasons in BMW5and7 post.

I did some research using the F12 developer string and these are the part numbers that are different in the 2 orders. My config has most options available.

2024 Added / Changed Part Numbers
ZN7 - Act Cruise Contrl w/Stop & Go
ZN8 - Act Lane Asst w/Side Col Avoid
ZN9 - Traffic Jam Assistant
ZX1 - Active Park Distance Control
5AX - Highway Assistant

These are the only part numbers I could see; I am sure there are many others they don't publish in the configurator. Also, I did not order the crystal headlights.

Looks like black extended leather is back, that’s good news.

I think the US configurator is switching over to 2024. I can't add options the X7 right now.

What’s your actual build/prod date on the ‘24?

I am scheduled for week 14, in the configurator it says 4/1 now. It may flip a week early according to dealer.

When you say Week 14, is that when production starts or when it ends? My 2024 x7 is scheduled for week 17…

When they give you a week, it has been slotted to start production in that week. Most go through very quickly unless you get stuck in QC.

production week/date is when it exits production. this is the info you can see in developer mode in my garage

status 150 (production begins) is about 2 weeks before- its when all the parts are ordered from the suppliers and your build is locked.

ex, my production date was 8/1/22, my car flipped to 150/ Production begins around july 14th and production date moved up to July 28th. car was finished and released to carrier on July 29 or sometime around then, my car was one of the first LCIs off the line and was in QC for 24 hours.

Is anyone else waiting for their X7 M60i allocation/production number? I'm having trouble getting the production number from my dealer. the order was accepted by BMW for a 23' but they changed it to a 24' and I lost the production number.

The 2024 pricing guide shows that it's available for the 40i.

The guide shows it's available for the 40i, but the notes updated on 3/1 say currently unavailable. The SA can't add it to a 40i. That may change in the future.

Its an option but availability is subject to parts ... and thus not available for 40is
