Must have accessories 2025 X7

My custom build arrived at the dealership today and I’m picking it up on Friday. I ended up going through a broker but would they throw in any freebies like all weather mats? I plan on asking them but not very confident.

That said, what are the must have accessories for the X7 that you’ve found useful.

I’m also not going to get extended warranty or prepaid maintenance but interested in knowing what others think.

Congrats on the car.

Must haves from day 1 are TuxMat floor mats for the interior and 3D Kagu folding cargo liner for the trunk. Absolute best combo. The floor mats are fantastic, blows BMW mats out of the water.

1. A center console organizer. I have this one:

2. An emergency/survival kit for keeping in the trunk at all times. Here's just one of the many variations that are available on Amazon at different price points:

I got one after seeing thousands of cars stuck in the snow for close to 24 hrs on the busy I-95 in Virginia a few years ago. Many ran out of gas, slept in their cars overnight in freezing temperatures, etc. I've personally been stuck in traffic for 12-18 hours due to accidents or natural disasters on at least a couple of occasions over the years.

Just add lye and it doubles as a body disposal kit.

Lol, good idea. You surely won't be able to carry the body in the trunk with the third row up!

Did you opt for the spare tire option on your build? If not, get a tire plug kit, scissor jack, breaker bar, and a needle nose pliers. I prefer that kit vs a spare tire. If you have never plugged a tire, watch a couple youtube videos, it is pretty straightforward.

Spare tire is great too, I just prefer the plug kit. Always a risk you get a non-pluggable flat, but knock on wood, I have only had flats that I could easily plug and are by far the most common.

Do you have photos of the Tuxmat and the cargo liner in your car?

We have a heavy shedding Golden Ret so I needed to 'wrap' the interior of all our cars - here with repurposed custom floor mats on the verticals.
have captain chairs so a little barrier as well.

Sorry, missed your reply. The cargo liner already came into play, notice the rip on the right. Someone ripped a hole with a suitcase lock.

theboosh - Can you share links to where you purchased your setup for your dog? We have a mild-mannered Great Dane who sheds a lot and I am trying to find something to keep her behind the captain's chairs AND keep the excess fur contained for a long road trip. Thank you!

Most all from amazon-padded cargo liners-cut and ran up side wall & used those black/red floor mats with velcro to cover seat backs. little cargo net divider also amazon. You can get a full custom liner to cover all back there, but I had these leftover from other cars
