New ... help

I'm new to the forum and new to being a BMW owner - so please bare with me as i find my way around. I am looking to getting 19s for my car and have been receiving conflicting information.

The dealer tells me to put on 225/35 in the front and 255/30 in the rear, but tirerack says 235/35 and 265/30.

Any thoughts or recommendations from those who have 19s?

Thanks for the help!

Garage List
16 K71 F800GT  [10.00]
2018 F80 M3  [10.00]
2013 BMW E93 M3  [10.00]
I believed some members on this forum had done the upgrade and is do-able.

Tirerack does state 225/255 for the OEM 19 inch optional wheels. What wheels are you getting??? This might help us out some...

Going with 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 is fine. It offers the correct stock stagger from front to rear so you shoudn't have any issues. Myself and many others run that size set and I can tell you firsthand that it's ok.

Thanks for the info! Below is the link for tirerack for the search I did

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Option...r=Base%20Model

I am not sure what brand of rims yet - but I'd like to get a 19x8 in the front and 19x9 in the rears

I thought the optional 19's were the same for 330/325... Why would they say wider tires for 325 in comparison (to what I would think the same wheels...) than a 330???

They don't. I ran it for both the 325 and 330 and got the same optional sizes..235/35 and 265/30. I'm not sure how he got the other sizes to come up.
