ACS Drop, some paint, and 21's
Here it is, finished, mostly:
2011 535i M-Sport on ACS springs, 21x9.0 and 21x10.5 Dub.7's in brushed and polished finish with 255.30.21 and 295.25.21 Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Car rides amazingly now, and is exactly what I wanted in my 5er. Also installed are AC Schnitzer roof wing, AC Schnitzer decklid spoiler, Llumar 35% tint, and Burger Tuning JB3 for N55. Comments welcome. Last edited by DieselWeasel; 06-02-2011 at 10:46 PM.. |

That looks awesome! I really like the way it turned out. I am very surprised at how low it looks on the ACS springs considering they claim only a one inch drop. It looks much lower than cars with the H&R springs which are supposed to lower the car 1.3 inches.
What trunk spoiler is that? |

I measured exactly 27mm from stock height to lowered height once settled, about 400 miles since installation of springs. Decklid spoiler, roof wing, and springs all AC Schnitzer. |

21x9 et40 and 21x10.5 et40. I used a 5mm H and R on the front but I was being freakish about the front offset, it didn't really need it at all. So far so good, no rubbing at all, even driving like an animal.

Great looking F10 and cool wheels.
And great to see how the 255 and 295 21" Michelin PSS tires looks in that size. Are the pics with or without the 5mm spacers in front??

By the way BMW had some mess in their system with the TPMS sensors and sold me the wrong set (even though they had my VIN) so I had to dismount the entire set of 21's and start from scratch this morning with some different sensors. Awesome. |

Looks nice, although I do not like wheels bigger than 20" on this car, personally. Also, good luck with bent rims...with 295.25, you'll be having fun!

Never have bent a wheel in my entire life. And I live in Atlanta where the streets are probably some of the worst in the country. I had 245.30.20 and 285.25.20 on an E46M3 for 4 years and 55,000 miles, no issues whatsoever. Besides, I'm in the wheel and tire business so it doesn't really matter to me, just stick the car on the lift, put a new inner or outer barrel on the bent wheel, seal it up and get back on the road.

Sent to the paint shop. Lights were removed, painted, and reinstalled. Permanent solution with no bubbles, etc. I did the rear reflectors too as it looked silly with them being red but now I think it looks balanced.

Wow, what the hell did they paint it with? Does this have a special name!? Did they paint it from the inside or from the outside? I am curious to know how much it costs (if you dont mind me asking). Love it.

It is a mixture of Mercedes black and clear. It is applied from the outside just like painting a car. Cost about $275
