Carbon Fiber Trim

I have a 2020 M340 and while you can’t order the car with carbon fiber trim you can now buy it separately from BMW. I have a X7 M50i on order and I don’t love all the trim offered and I was wondering if they make a carbon fiber trim kit like the M340. I don’t want an aftermarket kit but looking for something from BMW.

I did a search on here and didn’t see anything so I was wondering if any of you know about anything.

I'd imagine it's available for the G20 now because they made it for the G80. We know the X5 and X7 interiors are similar, are they perhaps similar enough that you could throw a kit for an F95 into a G07?

Looking at the parts diagrams, I'm somewhat confused. For instance, the dashboards in both the G05 and G07 have the same part numbers (e.g. 51459471886 is in both lists), but the actual trim pieces that secure into those dashboards have different part numbers. I'd have to assume they would fit, but I'm not sure what the difference may be between say 51458745269 and 51458745273? The same situation is true for the center console parts, yet the doors parts match which throw off my original theory that maybe the actual materials are of a different quality.

Yeah I’ve been watching different YouTube videos on the X7 M50i and I happened to come across a review that popped up and it had carbon fiber trim and it looked great and I got excited. Then I noticed the video was a X5 M50i so I got excited for nothing.

Makes sense about the M340 getting the option for a kit since the new M3 has the same dash.
