There is an updated Stg 2+ 93 map, but I haven’t tried it. I haven’t heard if there are updates coming for the other OTS maps.

Yup, IDK anything about it, never ran it as a stand alone map. Released 8/4/22 as an additional v5.9 OTS map. v5.9 is the latest of all the M2 maps at the moment.

I assume it was just spun out of the Stg 2+ Multimap which included 93 octane as a map setting (Map 3), and has different boost and timing targets as the other 2+ maps (you can see this in the prior log I posted) and different from the regular Stage 2 93 map.

I hope they decreased afr at high rpm, because before (from the logs I saw) it was way too lean.

Some logs I was looking over for a few other users, can't remember the thread, but it was extremely lean at redline and imo far from ideal and border line unsafe for the power they were pushing on an upgraded turbo.

It's not always the case though, zm2's logs look fine with afrs going to low 12's at redline and dropping early. The other guys had high 13's until near the very end where it hit like high 12's for a couple hundred rpm.

I checked with BM3 and it turns out a factory reset back to all the defaults fixed my psi issue. It looked like a bug. I was stuck in an endless look of absolute values

Do you have another thread detailing your build by chance? I have been looking at the turbo upgrade you are using for a while now but not completely clear on the supporting mods I need to create a reliable and efficient build. I am targeting around 500whp. I have the Dorch Stage 1 HPFP but no other fueling mods.

Haha, you have me to thank for that. I asked for a standalone because the multimap was to much switching around for me and I didn't need all its features at the moment since I'm only running 93. Although, when I tried it, I got some misfiring and sputtering and the psi values were ~2 psi above the multimap stage 2+ peak, so I stopped using it and went back to the multimap, go figure. I was under the impression it was just pulled straight from the multimap as a standalone but for me it was a more aggressive map

Stage 2+ 93 Standalone: 36.1 psi peak (absolute): https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=62f5...729b2d5d52172e
MultiMap Stage 2+ 93: 34.2 psi peak (absolute): https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=62f5...90c6b67441dc2c

Hahah, nice work!

I don’t have a build thread, but you’ll need E85 and a Stg 1.5-2 turbo, or a giant laggy turbo to get to 500whp on 93.

I’m a nice flat 480whp with a TTE460 and E50 on the Stg 2+ Multimap, with stock like spool. Apparently Pure is releasing a new PS1 with similar/better flow and good spool, but I haven’t seen more details on it.

The Dorch stage 1 is good to 495whp with the updated HPFP table that I worked on with Dorch & PTF and a Stg 3 E50 beta map that Halim gave me, but the TTE460 drops power above 5500rpm with 23psi to hit that peak, hence why I just run the Stg 2+ Multimap with E50 to have nice flat top end power.

If you want to bridge the gap to 500whp, you have two options: 1. Get a PS2 and run the same map but have more lag, 2. Run E60-80 on the 2+ Multimap with a TTE460 or new PS1 which will require an upgraded LPFP and more year round ethanol maintenance.

And that’s why I stopped with my setup. 480whp @ 5500rpm and 540wftlbs @ 2600rpm is just a blast.

However, I would love to see someone try to run E60-80 on a Stg 1.5 turbo to see what the curve looks like.

That’s probably around 100whp and 120wtq more than where I’m at on the S291 tune which sounds… fun. Enough so I’m likely following you down the tte460 path.

I emailed Pure recently about their PS1 and sadly they didn’t mention anything new. The current PS1 is $2,000 less but if I’m going in this much I like the idea of the extra headroom the tte460 seems to bring.

I’ve never seen an M2 dyno on a Gen 1 Pure Stg 1 and E50 with the Stg 2+ Multimap, so no idea how close it matches the TTE460 on that setup. But, I do love mine A LOT!

Thanks 🙏🏻 your numbers sound great and spool is definitely a concern for me so TTE460 sounds like the sweet spot. Also wasn’t sure how much power the stock LPFP could hold before needing an upgrade and sound like that can be left alone if staying below 500 whp.

I am new to the flexfuel game. Do I need anything other than the Dorch stage 1 to start mixing E85 in my tank? Even on the 93 octane map my timing is not the greatest. I would like to bump up the octane a bit. Am I good to add some pump E85 to help that without any concern?

E85 will clean up the timing. Are you running the PTF Flexfuel or other sensor? If so, add E40 to start, switch to Map 1 on the 2+ Multimap & hang on!

If everything looks good, you should be able to run up to E60 with the Dorch Stg 1 in the summer for more timing advance & power, and E50 in the winter. Altho, I’ll drop to E30-35 in winter so cold start cranking isn’t as bad.

Changing bn Emixes during the year and pump gas on road trips is where the ethanol sensor and Multimap become very convenient.

Great info thanks. I do not have any kind of ethanol sensor at the moment so it would have to be a manual calculation but I figure if I stay on my 93 octane tune for now no harm in bumping up the octane a bit without knowing the exact content %.

So the stock LPFP is fine handling Ethanol?

Looks like you are in Maryland, I am in the NOVA area, any stations you recommend for E85?

Stock LPFP is good up to E60-65 or so.

E25-30 is enough to clean up the Stg 2+ 93 map timing. If you want to feel what a high Emix map feels like, add half E85, half 93 (will get you E45-47ish) and flash the Stg 2+ E30 map--tons of fun.

When you get tired of calc'ing Emixes, get the PTF flexfuel sensor and run the Multimap. It literally only took me only an hour to install and I was taking my time.

Up here it's mostly Royal Farms & Sheetz stations for E85. Where you are it's those and a few Sunoco & Shell stations: https://afdc.energy.gov/fuels/ethano...on=reston%20va

See my post in this thread where I logged all four Stg 2+ Multimap maps in the same log by using the steering wheel fast map switching.

You’ll note all the timing and boost target changes bn the four maps.

I missed that, thanks. Am I seeing 11-13 degrees in timing and 19PSI at redline on 93+? WOW

Yeah, it’s a little “hot” IMO.

But you have to remember that the Multimap maps are Flexfuel enabled, so they’ll increase timing based on Emix. Because I logged all four maps in the same log, they’re all with E50 and are benefiting from higher octane & timing adjust.

And, not quite apples to apples, but in my very first post there is a Stage 2+ Multimap Map 1 log on E15. You’ll note boost is 19-20 psi while timing dropped to 7 to 8 degrees (vs 15 deg on E50) to compensate for the lower Emix.

It's showing 11+ degrees on your E15 log
