Yes, you can build one on BMW's website to see.

Thanks. It was hard to tell from the render on the website. And the description of the option talked about the exhaust but not the bar specifically.

The only parts they leave chrome are the tailgate badges and small ring around the bmw roundel. I just picked up some black badges to finish it off.

Build the whole car out and then at the price breakdown page click the vehicle and rotate, then you can clearly see it.

Very nice. It looks like a dark metallic grey rather than pure black.

Do you have a picture of the front?

It matches the shadow line exhaust outlets which is like a black Chrome. It also matches the European black badges. It looks very sinister.

Yes, and it changes tones with different light intensities. I'm not a big fan of blacking everything out, but I love the look on the X7.

Thanks for posting. Looks nice. I like that the trim is not glossy black to provide a little bit of contrast.

It's a nice contrast on carbon black, especially in brighter settings. Menacing look all around.

Yes, no chrome on the X7 when you select extended shadowline. Worth the $300. The parts alone would cost more afterwards.

IMHO, the shadowline option should also black out the badging. It just has a better look and should be that way from the factory. Here's before and after black badging add on my Mineral White M-Sport with shadowline.

Agreed, I wish it was like that stock. What is the PN to change them?
