Fuel Rail with B58 TU HPFP

Hey all decided to swap to the TU HPFP on my Gen1. One thing I noticed is the fuel rail doesn't line-up and seal with the HPFP inlets correctly. The angle seems off. Also the car would not start with it on. I didn't see anything about this when doing my research. Is there something I'm missing?

The hard-line has to be "convinced" to go into place. Just a slight nudge. I wouldn't even call it bending it... Then mine lined up perfectly.

Hmmm, did you extend your harness, get an adapter harness, or rotate the plug?

It's a pretty straightforward install. Not sure why it wouldnt start if it did before. 🤷🏻
