Brand new F8x owners - what sort of delivery miles did you get?
Am collecting it this Sat, when last checked it was 22 miles.
Would like to know what yours shown? Not sure if I have ought to have some concerns, when I collected by RS3 from new it was under 10 miles. |

22 is a bit up there yes, pretty certain all my new BMWs have been sun 10 miles BUT none previously were M's.
Not a huge concern I would think but I agree seems a little high but likely the M engineer setting up has been out to test. AS long as its perfect at handover and you're happy not an issue, maybe push for the full tank of fuel at handover!

I've made a complain to BMW customer services. Am not happy with it...
I'd like to see the PDI report to find out what the car's initial mileage was from the factory and how many miles they've been driving it in the UK. |

It wouldn't surprise me if part of the delivery is by road, though. If the car has been tested by the factory and then 10 miles put on it in the UK, that wouldn't overly worry me. It'll be interesting to hear what BMW say. |

I did, but the dealer gave me a load of flannel. The car was fine though, and I had 3 years of stage 1 heaven. I do miss the AWD though, especially as the roads are so greasy in the UK this time of the year and I'm already running a stage 1 tune in the BM

Reviving an older thread. Mine had 6 btw....
But my question, I downloaded the M laptimer app. On my phone, looking over the apps I notice under "Sessions" there are two saved against my car. Both at the BMW performance centre test track in Germany. Watching the real time logging it shows me how fast the car travelled etc etc for both stints (equalling 1 min 20 secs total) to which it shows the car was pushed to the max in terms of revs and braking in different gears. Does anyone else have this? I though BMW believed in running in...? |

My 1M had 10 miles on it...... My M5 had 17 miles on it and the M3 had 31 on it... It don't real bother me as it under warranty if anything went wrong ... If I keep it for the 3 years................... But given the track record it won't be that long

I can't say that I noticed it on any of my new BMW's although it couldn't have been excessive or else I would have raised it. Now Suzuka the M performance 1:20 lap times, that I would definitely be looking for answers on.
