Exhaust question.

Ok since hunter has sold me on the eisenmann exhaust. I ordered one online through eisenhaus.com. But my father has alerted me (calling me an idiot to be exact) to a question that I should have asked before ordering the exhaust. Does replacing the stock exhaust with the eisenmann void the warranty?

This question has been discussed every now and then in this forum. Only to the extent that it might be proven that such modification could be adversely affect certain parts of your vehicle. It was also suggested that this may vary from dealership to dealership.

I spoke with a friend's friend's husband--a master mechanic at a Southern California BMW dealership. He said that it won't affect the warranty.

It just depends on ur dealer pretty much. Theycan choose what to warranty and what not to warranty.

It will just void your muffler warranty....Which means pretty much nothing

It HELPS the engine so you should not have any problems

Muffler Warranty? LOL I never even knew there was such a thing...... Well ok, I feel pretty confident that it won't ruin any primary components of the vehicle. But I will call up my service advisor just to make sure that my specific dealership will honor my warranty even after the eisenmann is installed.

PS - Hunter how long did it take for them to ship the badboy to your house? Hell after seeing your footage, im getting restless like a mofo now!

PS #2 - Did you scrape any part of your CF Lips yet? On the first video it looked pretty close.

Yeah I did, the main eisenhaus.com website didn't work. I tried registering and paying by credit card on the main website, but it wouldn't go through. So I said F#$#K this and I paid for it through paypal.

Hey man you should send your videos to eisenmann. They probably would post them on the website as previews for people considering to purchase the exhaust. :rocks:
