Sure can. I got mine from the dealer and had them fit it along with Akro DP.

Should be able to get at least 10% off RRP

I hagled the price as I also bought the car from them..

You're looking at approx 8.5k to 9.2k installed from BMW and performance shops. This is based on carbon tips.

If I order, do they install at the factory or after delivery here. I guess if it's installed here it may be better to wait, assess the stock exhaust and then decide from there.
From the test drives I have had the stock exhaust sounds pretty good but the MPE does sound fabulous. Looked pretty closely at a c63 but at 20k plus price discrepancy could not see that the ( supposedly better sound) was justified. Don't know that it sounds better than an m3 with an MPE-just different. I guess i6 v v8
I have read the exhaust needs to break in as well. How long should you give it

Purchase with the car at time of purchase = 33% LCT on top of the cost of the exhaust and labour. Purchase after you have the car and save the money.

I bought mine after the car was delivered.

Yups was one of the first things we did, 5 minute job
Big difference inside the cabin without ASD, but I think its better.
Each to their own on this one....

Makes a big difference.
If you have always had it on, the first few times once you disable it you are like.
"hrms...what the....its so quiet, what happened to my engine?"
Then you start to hear the real exhaust (start by winding the windows down), and you get used to a whole new experience.
After a while you don't even remember what the fake asd is like.
I'm sure you will love off more if you get your new exhaust.

For what it's worth I reckon the Akra is better value than the MPE.

They're a pretty similar price but:
1) Akra includes complete midpipe (vs. MPE being only 'half' the midpipe)
2) MPE is stainless midpipe / titanium muffler, Akra is both titanium midpipe and muffler
3) MPE requires a cut to the original exhaust, Akra is bolt on / bolt off (ok not such an important issue)

Either way they both sound good

Happy to quote up any Sydney potentials on supply and install on both systems, as well as other brands.

Can you get a complete mid pipe with MPE so that you don't have to cut the original pipe?

Not that I know of. The cutting itself isn't a major issue though, BMW has been using this technique for quite a while now on many models with their performance exhausts.

How do they cut this? Do they remove the pipes from the car to cut them of will they cut wile on the car and possibly damage my chassis underneath

Now I am worried about this process

They could either remove the midpipe completely (unbolt from the downpipes, and most probable method of install) or could cut while on the car. It's not a hard process, unlikely they will damage anything.

When was your M4 MY16 delivered? My M3 MY16 arrived into the country 3 weeks ago, however BMW will not release until ADR approvals are completed.....they are saying sometime in October

Also look forward to your feedback with the Akra....(fitted the complete Akra system to my 997GT2 several years ago, outstanding quality)

Quick iPhone pics of an Akra Evo system we fitted up earlier, the vehicle also features the M Performance Carbon Fibre Spoiler and M Performance Carbon Fibre Diffuser and complements the carbon fibre exhaust tips perfectly

Finally had the time to take the car to my dealer for the exhaust change... looks like with a bit of modifications I can keep the AC Schitzer manifold and use the MPE exhaust to it! I hope the combo will produce a good sound as I don't want to go back to having cats
