Turn signals

So recently I got told about a light bulb to replace the orange nasty looking bulbs for turn signals that when you are just driving around are white and then when you put the turn signal on it turns yellow or orange. Anyone got a link or know if this is true? Got a 2014 335i x drive n55 let me know please really interested in this as the light from the front look so ugly.

They're called Swtichbacks and several venders make em, DiodeDynamics come to mind
