Yeah, this is an electric hitch ball that stows under the rear bumper, available everywhere else in the world. Without knowing details, I'm sure it has something to do with it not being fixed, that the NHTSA wouldn't approve it.

I like how the hitch doesn't break up the rear bumper like the factory hitch. I would have liked to see this in a darker shade like Oxford green with some black wheels. But this certainly does stand out from all the standard X7 colors.
