I havent had runflats in a while but honestly Ive never really had any complaints about them. Steering isnt as sharp without them IMO.

I don't want to lug around a spare tire which I have no designated space for.

RFTs produce a very disappointing ride in comparison to conventional UHP radials. the best thing i did last year was to replace my bridgestone RFTs at 4k miles with Toyo UHP radials. smooooooth and quiet.

i have a space saver spare and jack kit from leatherz.

I use non-RFT for summer, and RFT for winter by choice. The latter is because I don't want to deal with flat tires on the roadside when it is freezing cold outside.

According to the forum it seems that way. But in the big scheme of things, the average mr and mrs. jones don't know the difference.

I hate my RFT's, but am sticking with them. Only because I'm not changing to aftermarket wheels (right now).

It's getting close to ordering a new set, but think I want to get a different set of RFT's. Just crossed 21K miles yesterday on the tires/car.

I'm switching to non-RFT for sure.

Last time I asked the service guy in the dealership, he "kindly treatened" me. He said if they can link a failure with the non-RFT tires, they can void the warranty. Anybody heard that too?

Just a week ago I swithched from RFT's on 18's to non RFT's on 19's and even though I have less tire between the road and the wheel, it is a night and day difference in how smooth and quiet the ride is compared to how it was before. I haven't had a chance to really test out how differnt the handling is, but so far I like it and don't think I will ever go back to RFT's. RFT's cost more and in my opinion make the car ride like a carnival log ride.
