but I wish it to u. I ordered 25th Feb and it will be soonest 3rd week of May (probably laters)

My dealer swore it will be state side in 6 weeks and we are already at the 6 week mark and the car still at the port. This waiting game sucks, I'm really about to go look at some 550 and maybe pull the trigger on one of those as the price pretty loaded is only a few thousand $ more.

G what happened? You were right behind me on 8th or 10th and headed to NY right? There was the Patriot ship delayed leaving Bremerhaven until the 20th it makes no sense you were not on it. You might get surprised.

Mine swore it will be latest at the end of April.
Funny he said if I took 530d instead of 540i it might be in 1month of waiting, stupid excuse.

I hope we all here get our cars asap and in perfect shape with no fails!

My new 540i took only 45 days from order to US delivery.

Ordered Feb 17
Build start Feb 21
Loaded on a ship in Bremerhaven March 10, departed March 13
Arrived Baltimore March 28
Arrived Chicago dealership April 3

By the way guys. How many kms/miles does ur new car have? Especially asking UK and US owners..
In CZE they said it is going to be about 15-20km.

0...but doesn't the dealer reset to zero as part of the PDI?

Nope. Not in uk. My 330d had 7 on it.

They will not reset it here on 100% I asked them.

Dealer has come through like after i asked why the change from end of july to september.

They rang the factory itself to get a slot.

This is the status now:

The current status of your BMW is on 1200 "Scheduled for production" with the estimated delivery will be around the 24th week in June.

The estimated delivery is from 10th-18 in June.

ordered it 25th April so they have sorted me out
