I have a 2019 BMW X7, recently I went to the car wash and noticed that the right rear seat alarm was on, and could see the passenger side middle row was folded down and will not fold open. I have pulled the emergency release, and pushed the max cargo and max seating buttons, but the seat won't open. Can someone give me some guidance?

I had this exact problem at least twice with my X7 and had to go to the dealer to unfold and reset the seat. Eventually they made a software update which solved the issue. For the past year the “rear seat unlocked” warning never come back again.
