According to the official data, X6M LCI does 0-60 in 3.7. So seems their acceleration will be approximately the same.

Plus, BMW didn't add in the 7 series interior to try and help the XM compete against the Bentayga for luxury. |

BMW claims a 0-60mph of 3.7 seconds according to https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a4...-red-revealed/, so on par with the X5MC and X6MC. It should feel faster in non-LC situations with the electric motor.
Still though, at $185,000+, not putting in the 7 series interior with the 8K screen and the rear executive lounge seats, and all that, seems to be a miss. |

But you get that "cool" interior roof.

Red label is noted by bmw to do 3.7 as per their press release today.
Historically bmw underestimates and over delivers. As such I would guess final number would be closer to 3.4 seconds via launch control that is actually just .4 better then the non red label - confirmed by many drivers - reviewers of 3.8 seconds. 3.4 for a 6 ton - sofa hauler is pretty impressive and I can confirm the non red handles like an x6 m - it’s very impressive how stiff and agile it is! |

Yeah that’s a very good point… I was underwhelmed, one of my kids, who has seen the new 7 assumed the same and was disappointed when they hopped in back, then they asked me again how much it cost, and were as confused as others seem to be

2024 X5M starting MSRP $122300 Both with same interior. Is that weird? You pay for the powertrain. |

I waited for the original XM with excitement and was disappointed. Then I said I’ll wait for the red label, and again, disappointed. WTF are they thinking having the most expensive BMW available have some of the most average performance and luxury features available even amongst their own cars! Just a a total head scratcher and I will not be buying one

The 760iX with the S68 engine start at $116k and the XM start at $159k which is a delta of $43k. The XM is supposed to be a flagship SUV so you’d think they’d use their best and most current interior!? I own a 760, a 2020 X5 before that. I went in to buy a 2023 X7 LCI but after seeing and sitting in the 7-series the other interiors felt dated. Just my personal opinion and I think BMW missed an opportunity to make the XM even more exclusive. |
