Agree, but while black trim certainly provides more contrast than red, it is much louder. I'd pick black trim with any exterior colour for this vehicle.

I also agree that black (or dark grey) is best for this vehicle.

Looks good in person, I must admit. Saw an all black one on the road and it has some strong presence.

BMW only has to sell 5,000 XM’s per year to take 50% share away from the run rate on the G wagon, or 2,500 for 25% share.

I believe this is a first commercial test on the powertrain before they drop it in the M5 and eventually cascade it across the M range (the M2/3 will eventually receive an I-6 hybrid).

Part of the roadmap is migrating expectations to a higher vehicle weight.

BMW should have just come out with this powertrain level for XM. I feel that the regular non Label Red versions will sit on the lot now and we will see discounts soon once label red comes out because truthfully if you can afford 160K you can financially afford whatever label Red price is……the pool is only so big for people wanting an XM.

After reading about the label red I am confused. Is the entire label red production 500 units worldwide or does that apply to only the label red edition with frozen black paint and red accents?
