1) Polarizing styling that looks like a concept car and actually retained 90% of their concept designs

2) Hybrid powertrains that dont quite pack the punch of rivals or even their other cars

3) Wild price tags for what ur getting

The I8 roadster was personally my favorite BMw that I had. However for the price tag of 172k the 0-60 shoulda been at least 3.3 sec

Now with the XM theres no new tech like the 7 series so thats a fail. On top of that its much slower then an X5M and X6M competitions while being $40k more so thats a fail and some dealers are already offering $10k off

The new XM 50e variant is a complete head scratcher as its slower then an X3

I see the XM by next year being offered at lease prices similair to the i8 (1,400 a month) then being discontinued by 2025
